Alderman Kawsar Zaman, The City’s first Alderman from a British Bangladeshi background, invited BTMC to a lunch on 2 July at the Guildhall. This gesture was much appreciated by Staff and the Management Committee. The visit provided an initial opportunity to discuss BTMC’s work and its priorities for community development activities. We hope to attract corporate support in this area of our work as we do not receive any funding from the Council for community development work.
