Tower Hamlets Homes (THH) are an ALMO (Arms Length Management Organisation). A not-for-profit company set up to deliver high quality housing services for residents living in 22,000 Tower Hamlets Council homes. The Council owns the homes and THH manage the tenancies and leases on behalf of the Council.
Tenants are still Council tenants and leaseholders are still Council leaseholders.

The National Federation of Tenant Management Organisations
The National Federation of Tenant Management Organisations was founded in 1992 as a membership organisation working on behalf of tenant led management organisations in England. The NFTMO has since developed a key strategic role in the sector with a wide range of services and products generated mainly by voluntary effort and with extremely low overheads. NFTMO provides support services to member TMOs but also aim to encourage and help tenants who are interested in setting up a new TMO.
