The TMC currently has a number of spaces available on the Management Committee and are looking to recruit new members.
The Management Committee is responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the TMC. The term of appointment is 3 years.
This is an opportunity to have a say in the running of the estate where you live and learn new skills. As a member of the committee, you can get to know others with the same goals as yourself and make a real difference in the way the estate is run.
Some of the skills and experience we are seeking in our new Committee members to complement the existing team but not restricted to:
- An understanding of co-operative principles and A commitment to social housing, and empathy with the aims, objectives and values of BTMC.
- The ability to work effectively in a team with other committee members and the TMC Director.
- The ability to read, understand, and analyse written and numerical reports.
- A commitment to diversity and equal opportunities and access in employment and service provision.
- A high degree of probity and integrity.
